12 October: The tutorial on Deep Learning and Its Applications in Computer Vision will be held in the Gold Coast Campus of Griffith University from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Tuesday 29th of November. This tutorial is free to all students and DICTA attendees. For people who are interested in attending this tutorial only, a tutorial only option is provided in the DICTA registration website. If you plan to attend the tutorial, please inform the DICTA Organising Committee (contact@dictaconference.org) by 31st of October for catering purpose.

29 August: Please note that at least one author of the accepted paper must register for the conference by the early-bird registration deadline for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Reduced early-bird registration is available until 23th September 2016. Registration information is available at this page.

29 August: The camera-ready submission deadline is 9 September 2016. Detailed instruction on camera-ready submission can be found at here.

29 August: DICTA review outcome is announced. A list of accepted papers can be found at here. Authors can see feedback from the reviewers at the submission system: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/dicta2016.

15 July: Paper submission deadline has been extended to 29th July, 2016.

15 July: CMT informed us that the new system does not automatically send out confirmation email. After a paper is submitted, authors can see the paper summary from Author Console. If the status shows "Not Available", it means the review outcome is not available yet.

14 July: We notice that the new CMT system has some problems in automatically sending confirmation email after paper submission and in displaying the status of the paper. We are discussing with Microsoft on how to solve the issue. The submitted papers shall be listed in the author console. Could you please email to contact@dictaconference.org if you want to verify whether the paper submission is successful or not.

The International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA) is the main Australian Conference on computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and related areas. DICTA was established in 1991 as the premier conference of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS).
